Sign-in cookies

WorkOS AuthKit uses an encrypted session cookie to keep you signed in, plus short lived verification cookies to complete sign-in securely. Signing out removes the session cookie. Cookie expiry and renewal follow the WorkOS session configuration.

Study storage

Rikai uses local storage for your study cache and pending study changes. Session storage identifies the browser tab that owns those changes. This lets Rikai preserve work during connection interruptions. Signing out clears the study cache and pending changes in that browser.

Preferences

Local storage remembers your sidebar layout, onboarding dismissal, tour sound choice and exam display settings. These values stay in your browser until you clear site data. Rikai does not use them for advertising or tracking across websites.

Payments and diagnostics

Paddle loads when you open checkout and may use its own cookies or storage for payment security and checkout. See Paddle privacy information for its practices. Rikai sends limited error diagnostics and counts product events on the server without analytics or advertising cookies. See the Privacy Policy for the data involved.

Your controls

Rikai has no optional advertising or analytics cookies to accept or reject. You can block cookies or clear site data in your browser settings. Blocking sign-in cookies prevents sign-in. Clearing site data removes saved preferences and can discard study changes that have not synced. Allow pending changes to sync before clearing it.
