Refunds

Who handles the payment

Paddle is the merchant of record for every Rikai purchase. Paddle takes the payment, charges any applicable tax, and issues refunds. A Rikai charge therefore appears on your statement under Paddle, and a refund is processed by Paddle rather than paid out by Rikai directly.

How to ask for one

Request a refund through Paddle buyer support or the support link in your receipt.

You can also write to help@getrikai.app with the email address on the account and the date and amount of the charge, saying briefly what went wrong. Rikai reviews it and takes it to Paddle where a refund is warranted.

Do not send card details.

What Paddle’s policy says

Refund requests are reviewed under the Paddle buyer terms and applicable consumer law. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights.

Cancelling instead

Cancelling is separate from a refund. Open the billing page and choose Manage subscription, which opens the Paddle customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. If a renewal caught you by surprise, cancel first so it does not happen again, then write about the charge.

If a refund is issued

Paddle processes approved refunds. A full refund removes access granted by the refunded subscription. A partial refund does not automatically end access, and another active subscription can continue to provide access.
